We have an Excel file (xlxs) that a user has opened on their laptop, now nobody else can access it as Notifybox says that they have it 'checked out'.
They actually don't have the file open anymore, and have even reopened it and closed it again to try to force it to become 'checked in' again, as well as shutting down their laptop ... however it remains locked for all other users. This has been the case for several days now.
We have multiple users that need to access this particular file, on a regular basis, so are getting pretty frustrated. Have searched the forums but cannot find that this exists as another thread.
Can anyone help?
